2008 Charity Gala
Village Learning & Achievement Center’s 4th Annual Charity Gala, “Embrace the Fusion: Melding Community, Families & Individuals with Disabilities,” will be an eclectic celebration of our successes.
The event will be held at the newly renovated Crowne Plaza Houston North Greenspoint on November 8, 2008, and the talented band, “The Hotcakes,” will lead the attendees in a lively evening of fun & dance.
We have much to celebrate as we consider how the community has embraced the mission of Village Learning & Achievement Center. The “fusion” has occurred as individuals with disabilities have been readily accepted and blended into the community.
Rick Alspaugh of Alspaugh’s Ace Hardware will be honored as an outstanding business partner who has furthered the fusion through donations, fundraising, volunteering, and employing one of our clients. Debra Duncan, host of KHOU-TV’s Great Day Houston, will emcee the event, and our dear friend Joe Cleary will be the auctioneer.
