Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith is the Chief Operations Officer at Village Learning & Achievement Center in Kingwood, TX, overseeing the day program, assisted living, transportation, nursing, childcare, and respite.  Jennifer brings six years of experience directing and providing nursing care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

In 2004, she completed her nursing certification and worked in public health and pediatric nursing. Jennifer graduated cum laude from the University of Houston in 2006, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology.  As an undergraduate, she worked as an intern in the psychiatric unit at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.  Following graduation, she served as Director of Children and Young Adult Programs for the Life Enrichment Program at the Arc of San Antonio Pam Stephens Center.  Upon her return to Houston, Smith was employed as the marketing director with Continuity Care Home Health. 

Born in California, and raised in Kingwood, Smith married her high school sweetheart, Kevin.  They are the proud parents of a two-year-old son, Ryan.
