Kristy Conrad


Kristy Conrad joined Village Learning & Achievement Center in October of 2009 and serves as the Chief Financial & Administration Officer. In that role, she is responsible for budget preparation and implementation, oversees human resources and risk management.

Before joining The Village, she worked at GrowthForce as a project manager and served for six years with Aspen Education Group as the director of operations of a boarding school for at-risk teenagers.

Prior to a two-year stint as a auditor at Broussard, Poche, Lewis and Breaux accounting firm in Crowley, La., Conrad served as the administrator at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Alexandria, La. There, she supervised the quality of care for more than 120 senior citizens and oversaw a staff of more than 100.

Conrad received her MBA from Rice University in 2009 and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting/business administration at Centenary College in 1995. As an undergraduate, she was an award-winning student-athlete in both volleyball and softball. She was honored as an Academic All-America Second-Team selection as a senior and was named Louisiana’s NCAA Woman of the Year in 1995.

For her impressive academic and athletic achievements, she was inducted into the Centenary College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005.

She is married to Jeff Conrad, who serves as the director of athletics communications at the University of Houston. They have two sons, Tyler and Nathan, and the family lives in Montgomery.
