This year we are proud to honor David Bubier, Chairman of the Board of Village Learning & Achievement Center and President of the MINT National Bank, for his involvement in our organization for the past ten years.  David was among the first parents to become involved with the Village.  He has served the Village, like many other community organizations, with his financial expertise, advice and tireless work to make his community better.  Because of his efforts, the Village has grown from its original six to having served over two hundred individuals with special needs.

Our gala will be a wonderful opportunity to promote your business at a well-attended event while supporting an extraordinarily worthwhile cause.  We anticipate well over 400 attendees this year.

Stop by anytime next week, Monday, March 21 – Friday, March 25, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at our offices located at 3946 Glade Valley Drive, Kingwood, TX 77339.

Write personal letters to legislators who are in favor of budget cuts to Medicaid Waiver Programs such as HCS and CLASS.

A workroom will be available for your use in the front conference room that is to your left as you enter the front doors of the World Publications Building, behind Wal-Mart Marketplace and adjacent to Kingwood Park High School.

Breakfast tacos will be served each morning and pizza will be served each afternoon.

Concerned citizens, Village Learning & Achievement Center staff, volunteers, supporters, program participants, and their families are encouraged to join in our effort to share stories about the difference Village Learning & Achievement Center has made in your life and in our community. Invite your neighbors and friends!

Please bring one or two photos to attach to your letter.   Tips and guidance will be provided to help you share your opinions about the proposed budget cuts and your personal story about how your life will be impacted if the cuts are approved.  All letter- writing materials will be set up in the workroom.
