The Village Garden

Located on the grounds of Village at Stoney Glen, The Village Garden is an entirely organic garden created with extensive involvement from our community, including volunteers from The Kingwood Garden Club.  The Village Garden creates many possibilities for our Villagers to learn new skills, not to mention, enjoy spending time watching the plants grow and flourish and the numerous butterflies flutter by.

Produce harvested from The Village Garden is used in preparing meals for the residents of Village at Stoney Glen.  Periodically staff and volunteers also sell herbs and vegetables at the weekly farmers market in Kingwood which is hosted by the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce.   (For more information, call 281-446-2128 or email Carolyn at the Chamber – cmccarty@lakehouston.org.)  Each week, several local restaurants also purchase herbs from our organic garden.
