Thanks, in part, to a generous $40,000 grant from long-time Village supporter, Administaff, Inc., the Village Community Center is now open!  Located at 3930 Glade Valley Drive, behind Wal-Mart Marketplace and adjacent to Kingwood Park High School, the building serves a dual purpose.  It is currently being utilized as an extension of our Day Habilitation Program.  Plans are also in place for development of a lending library, computer lab and vocational work site for our clients. 

Additionally, the space is available for lease to organizations in our community who have a need for a meeting place in the evenings or on weekends.  The facility has seating for 128 people in the main room and also features a separate childcare room and foyer area.  Although there is no kitchen, food may be brought in, making it an ideal location for weddings, quinceañeras, and other gatherings.  For leasing information, please call 281-358-6172 or send an email to kbrusatori@villagelac.org.
