You may have seen some of these animals at PetsMart for adoption on the weekends. 

 Each Tuesday, participating Villagers from the Day Program volunteer at the Volunteers for Animal Protection program. Villagers help by providing social interaction to cats and dogs in the shelter. The Villagers are able to provide positive praise and attention that the animals might normally not receive and help with filling the animals’ food and water bowls.  The Villagers will also be participating in some other projects for VAP.  Villagers will work on fine motor skills by painting wooden signs for each dog’s kennel and create dog toys by putting an empty water bottle in a sock.

This year we are proud to honor David Bubier, Chairman of the Board of Village Learning & Achievement Center and President of the MINT National Bank, for his involvement in our organization for the past ten years.  David was among the first parents to become involved with the Village.  He has served the Village, like many other community organizations, with his financial expertise, advice and tireless work to make his community better.  Because of his efforts, the Village has grown from its original six to having served over two hundred individuals with special needs.

Our gala will be a wonderful opportunity to promote your business at a well-attended event while supporting an extraordinarily worthwhile cause.  We anticipate well over 400 attendees this year.
