Before / After School Care

Village Learning & Achievement Center’s After School Care Program provides fee-based after-school care for individuals with disabilities, ages 14-22. It is a collaborative program between Village Learning & Achievement Center and Humble ISD.  Currently, the Lake Houston Family YMCA provides after-school care to children with disabilities between the ages of 5-13.  Humble ISD provides transportation for the students to the appropriate centers for care, and Humble ISD and Village Learning & Achievement Center provide staff training to the Lake Houston Family YMCA personnel.
